CONFLICT IS A FALSE MODEL FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS
Conflict
doesn’t resolve issues; it polarizes and inflames them. It’s a
false model for solving problems. Although it may seem to make
sense to fight about something to resolve an issue, reality
tells another story. The only way conflict ever resolves an
issue is if you totally annihilate the person or ethnic group
with whom you have a problem. Conflict perpetuates itself until
people become fed up with the insanity that keeps it going.
When compromise happens, conflict ceases.
Conflicts are
a dead-end street that leads to exhaustion. It doesn’t matter
if the conflict is personal or on a global scale, the result is
the same. You achieve exhaustion and a mind full of negative
thoughts. If you allow personal conflict to consume you, your
mind will become a turbulent storm of negative thoughts.
