TOUCHING GOD
I love taking pictures of butterflies. When I photographed
this one, I felt like I was touching God. The light was just
right and the beauty so stunning that I couldn't believe my
eyes.
That's the way God's beauty is; when you see it, you just can't
believe your eyes.
When God created the world He had a
master plan. He decided that everything He touched would turn
to beauty. God doesn't do ugly. He only does beauty, and He
does it on a grand scale. Beauty is God's fingerprint.
Everything that God creates is
beautiful. I've been alive for more than half a century and
during all those years I've never found anything created by God
that wasn't beautiful. I think that's why I love beauty so
much. It's the closest I can come to actually touching God.
It's like God and I are living on opposite sides of a two way
mirror. On his side He touches things and makes them
beautiful. On my side I touch the same things and experience
his beauty. I can see the tip of his finger and my finger
coming together in a million beautiful places around the world.
God must have enjoyed making butterflies
because He made them so beautiful. Butterflies reflect
the mind of God.
